Adaptive Fusion Sampling Strategy Combining Geotechnical and Geophysical Data for Evaluating Two-Dimensional Soil Liquefaction Potential and Reconsolidation Settlement

In engineering practice, properly characterizing the spatial distribution of soil liquefaction potential and induced surface settlement is essential for seismic hazard assessment mitigation. However, geotechnical site investigations (e.g., cone penetration test (CPT)) usually provide limited sparse data with high accuracy. Geophysical surveys abundant two-dimensional (2D) data, yet their accuracy lower than that investigations. Moreover, correlating geophysical can effectively reduce investigation costs. This study proposes a data-driven adaptive fusion sampling strategy automatically develops an model from spatially performs monitoring liquefaction-induced settlement, integrates spatiotemporally unconstrained to update systematically quantitatively. The proposed illustrated using real results indicate overcomes difficulty generating high-resolution distributions enables more accurate judgment variations in local areas, effective tool analysis.
